Life is vain without Purpose. Your destiny receives life only when the light of Purpose is seen. When the Earth was without form, God said: “Let there be Light”. What a dark life when your life has no trace of Purpose!
Purpose brings order into your life. A life out of order is a life full of chaos. Before God created the universe, it was void of Purpose. Nothing more than an enormous wasteland. In “seven days”, He completed the arrangement of the earthly elements according to His predetermined purpose.
A life in alignment with Purpose is an effective and fulfilling life.
Discovering God’s purpose for your life is the first step to recovering self. One of the primary symptoms of being out of Purpose is that you always get the feeling of being “lost” in the world; you can’t seem to find the right answers to the essential questions Life poses at you.
On discovering Purpose, you get to experience the joy of self–discovery and open up continents of possibilities in your life journey which might otherwise remain hidden.
There is a caveat about Purpose, however. It does not shield you from experiencing challenges from time to time, but being in purpose releases the spiritual and mental resources to overcome them. Provision only follows vision.
A brother had approached me sometimes back for mentorship. Everything seemed not to work for him. His business was in disarray. He had several unfulfilled promises and was tired of them all. What I did was to help him channel his thoughts around Purpose. I made him see why his business and lifestyle must be tailored in line with his purpose.
