Thing is, no human on earth is born empty or useless. In fact, every male or female created by God is loaded with unique gifts and abilities inside — each existing for one purpose or the other.
This truth [when understood] can be the difference between excellence and mediocrity.
Your potential is all you can do that you have not done. They are the divine abilities in you that are yet to be used…but waiting to be harnessed for the good of mankind and the glory of God.
It is that idea in you; the book you have not written; the song you have not sung; the research you are yet to carry out.
There are things you’d never know you can do until you are inspired by an event or pushed by circumstance.
Such experiences have a way of transforming your potentials into action steps that bring purpose to fruition. Often times, life’s opportunities are unlocked through challenges and difficulties around you. No wonder Henry J. Kaiser [foremost American industrialist] said, “Problems are opportunities in work clothes.”
Whatever you do don’t give up when you are challenged or facing a difficult situation. Why? The trouble surrounding you may be the opportunity for you to discover the hidden gems within.
The ability to think through a solution in the midst of difficulties can be a major way of discovering and developing your potentials.
All the potential in you is meant to bring ease to people around you. They are meant to be used to solve existing or future problems. If God has called you to do certain work, it is because you have been equipped and empowered with whatever you will need to accomplish it.
Our world is full of men and women with unfulfilled dreams because they focus more on the circumstances surrounding them instead of the revelation of the innate potentials they possess.
Our potentials are given to us because of the assignment that has been committed to our trust. When you become all that God intended you to be, you will successfully fulfill your potential.
Doesn’t matter if you’re born outside wedlock, born with a disability or born by ‘mistake.’ If you’re reading this right now…then you were born to perform a unique, divine assignment for which you’d be accountable.
